General:

Unless expressly agreed otherwise, these Terms and Conditions shall apply to all business transactions between Skischule Schuster (the “Ski School”) and the customer.
The object of the company is the operation of a ski school. This includes in particular services such as providing instruction in the knowledge and skills of alpine skiing (without any guarantee of a specific training outcome) as well as guiding and accompanying clients while skiing.

Conclusion of Contract:

A contract between Skischule Schuster and the customer is concluded either by online booking or by booking at the Ski School office.

Payment Terms:

ll services booked by the customer must be paid in full prior to commencement of the service. Payment may be made in cash on site or online via a payment service provider.

Prices:

ll prices quoted are in euros and, unless otherwise stated, include statutory value added tax (VAT). Price lists are subject to change without notice. No liability is accepted for printing or typographical errors.

General Conditions of Participation:

The customer is obliged to provide Skischule Schuster with truthful and complete information regarding their skiing ability and to ensure, independently, that their equipment is suitable and appropriate to the current state of ski technology and prevailing external conditions. Furthermore, the customer must inform Skischule Schuster of their physical condition, in particular their state of health and any existing medical conditions. Prior to the start of instruction, the customer is responsible for arranging an inspection of their ski equipment by a qualified specialist. Participation in services provided by Skischule Schuster under the influence of alcohol or drugs entitles the Ski School to terminate the contract with immediate effect. In such cases, the customer shall have no entitlement to any refund of fees paid.

Liability:

Skischule Schuster accepts no liability whatsoever for accidents occurring before, during or after ski instruction. Accident insurance and third-party liability insurance are the sole responsibility of the participants.

Withdrawal by the Ski School:

Despite booking and payment, Skischule Schuster is entitled to withdraw from the contract for important reasons. Important reasons include, in particular, circumstances in which the provision of the service becomes impossible due to force majeure.Any further claims by the customer, in particular claims for damages (e.g. travel costs), are excluded.

Withdrawal by the Customer:

Cancellation of the contract is possible free of charge up to and including 14 days prior to the start of the course.If cancellation is made later than 14 days before the start of the course, the full amount in accordance with the confirmed booking shall be charged.If individual days of a confirmed booking are not utilised, Skischule Schuster is entitled to charge the agreed tariff in full. In the event of withdrawal during an ongoing service or failure to attend at the agreed time, no refund shall be made. Unused course days shall lapse.

Place of Jurisdiction:

The place of performance is the principal place of business of Skischule Schuster. The court with jurisdiction at the registered office of Skischule Schuster shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes. Austrian law shall apply. The contractual language is German.

Severability Clause:

Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions be or become invalid or unenforceable, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions or of the contract as a whole. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that most closely reflects the economic intent of the invalid provision.
Additional Provisions:

  • Instruction must be paid for in advance.
  • Courses take place in all weather conditions.
  • Photographs taken during private lessons by Skischule Schuster or its authorised representatives may be used for advertising and promotional purposes. If the customer does not agree to such use, they must inform the management in writing.
  • Ski lift passes are not included in course prices. For further information, please visit: www.bergbahnen-langes.at
  • Ski equipment cannot be rented from the Ski School and is therefore not included in the price. For information on ski rental services, please refer to the relevant rental provider.

Cancellation Fees:

Cancellation Fees in the event of illness or accident, payment for unused days will only be refunded upon presentation of a medical certificate. In such cases, the Ski School office must be informed prior to the start of the course. If notification is not given before the course begins, the full price shall be payable.
